The Agriculture Science Department consists of two hardworking and dedicated teachers. The subject is offered from years 9 to 13. The Department endeavours to contribute immensely towards providing students with enriched knowledge of farming with lifelong skills and making them agriculture literate. This year has been a challenging and a dynamic one but we managed to overcome those challengers by trying to impart the students to be a JOB CREATOR and NOT A JOB SEEKER during this Post Pandemic.

The Year 12 and 13 students also took part in the Open Day organised by the school in term 2 that is USP Open Day and FNU Open Day in Term 3. The students had a chance to grow vegetables. More practical oriented classes will surely assist students to learn and appreciate the importance of agriculture in its basic, social and economic perspectives. The department greatly appreciates and acknowledges the assistance provided by the schools’ administration and the management team for uplifting the standard of the Department.

 Finally, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Mrs. Navuso and former Agriculture Science Teacher Ms. Ashika Devi and all others for their support and guidance throughout the year. I wish everyone a merry Christmas and blessed 2023.
